Accounts Payable Specialist - Pasadena, CA

Duration: Temporary to Hire

Compensation: $25.00-$27.00 hourly

Are you detail-oriented and experienced in accounts payable? Our client is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their dynamic finance team in Pasadena.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and process vendor invoices using an imaging system
  
• Route invoices for approval and code to appropriate G/L accounts
  
• Match invoices to purchase orders or subcontracts
  
• Research and resolve invoice issues and discrepancies
  
• Ensure compliance with established A/P procedures
  
• Reconcile open balances and payment discrepancies with vendors
  
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Credit/Collections teams
  
• Perform other duties as assigned by the A/P Supervisor or Manager
  

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of accounts payable experience (construction A/P or accounting system experience a plus)
  
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel (including formulas and calculations)
  
• Experience with document imaging systems preferred
  
• Excellent customer service and phone skills
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
  
• High school diploma or equivalent required
  

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
