Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to join a dynamic financial services team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in banking and a passion for delivering exceptional service. The position involves a mix of customer service (70%) and operational processing (30%) with a strong emphasis on accuracy and communication.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle incoming phone calls related to wire transfers, including member verification and detailed data entry (average call duration: ~4 minutes).
• Process member transactions such as check deposits, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
• Monitor exception reports and perform necessary corrections and adjustments.
• Review and evaluate checks submitted through the Deposit Anywhere portal.
• Take ownership of assigned operational functions and ensure timely, accurate completion.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience (retail banking preferred)
• Strong typing and computer skills
• Experience in banking or financial services

Soft Skills:

• Team-oriented and collaborative
• Coachable with a positive attitude
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment & Perks

• Training: 100% onsite in Vernon Hills for the first 2–3 weeks
• Hybrid Schedule: After training, 2 days remote / 3 days onsite
• Team Size: 11 team members
• Leadership: Reports to a Director through a team lead
• Metrics: Quality of calls, verification accuracy, processing speed, and attendance
• Perks: Paid holidays during contract (including MLK Day, Presidents Day, Juneteenth, and other bank-recognized holidays)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
