Leidos’ Defense Systems Manufacturing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer t o join our Hypersonics Integration team in Huntsville, Alabama.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Capable of reading and interpreting mechanical/integration drawings.

  • Understand the working nature of MRP/ERP systems.

  • Create a bill of materials based on drawings and specs.

  • Create and maintain standardized work instructions based on drawing and specification reviews.

  • Provide floor support for integration, test, and assembly efforts.

  • Work closely with the design, quality and manufacturing teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Industrial and Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, etc, or equivalent Engineering Technology degree with 8-12 years of applicable engineering experience or a Master’s Degree with 6-10 years prior relevant experience in an engineering field is required. 

  • Must be capable of performing in a collaborative engineering environment working closely with multi-disciplinary teams.

  • Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.

  • Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

  • Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility requirements to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

  • Military and Aerospace assembly techniques.

Pay Range: Pay Range $89,700.00 - $162,150.00
