Settlement Clerk

As our Settlement Clerk, you will interact with communities, attorney, lenders and purchasers to prepare files for closing, close files and handle all post closing duties. Prepare Closing Disclosures (CD)/HUD statements, prepare files for closings for Hovnanian builder purchase/sale files for multiple states. Perform settlements for NJ properties. Prepare CDs/HUD statements, prepare files for closings for non-Hovnanian files and Refinances in multiple states. Perform non-Hovnanian settlements for NJ Properties. Attend NJ closings on behalf of K. Hovnanian, deliver closing documents and breakdown packages. Disburse settlement money to proper parties in accordance with lender's instructions. To qualify, an Associate's Degree or 2-4 years title/real estate related experience is required. The individual chosen for this position must be highly organized with great attention to detail. K. You can look forward to professional support, an hourly rate between $26.4423 - $29.8077 with eligibility for bonuses and extensive benefitsincluding time off for holidays, 3 weeks paid vacation, 6 sick days and 3 personal days, eligibility for overtime, medical/dental/vision coverage, discounts on mortgages and home appliances, and a 401(k) plan with a company match.
