If you can decode complex technical topics and reframe them for clarity and resonancewhether in a manual, a white paper, or advertising copywe want to work with you. This person filling this role will work directly with leadership across a range of client and internal projects: Technical Writing: Manuals, process documentation, data sheets, case studies, and white papersBrand Journalism: Articles that spotlight innovation, leadership, and STEM-driven storiesStrategic Communications: Executive summaries, RFP responses, op-eds, and PR contentMarketing & Copywriting: Ad copy, brand messaging, blogs, and promotional materialEvent Support: Speaker briefings/memos, onstage content and scriptingEditing & Proofreading: Ensuring clarity, tone, and technical accuracy across formatsInternal Writing Projects: Contributions to Nova Arcs own brand voice, thought leadership, and operational documentationSkills and AbilitiesAbility to translate complex technical topics into accessible, engaging contentExperience in government work, STEM fields, defense, or aerospace is a strong plusAbility to conduct productive recorded interviews with experts Comfort with both structured documentation and creative storytellingFamiliarity with and willing to learn various style guides, such as the Chicago Manual of Style and Associated Press (AP) StylebookAbility to understand and use a variety of modern small business software solutionsExperience and/or knowledge of modern technology, aerospace and defense, and/or other technical topicsStrong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindsetEdit and proofread technical and other content to company and client standardsWork independently while aligning with business needs and timelinesBring a positive and well-intentioned attitude to the workplaceEstablish and maintain professional relationships with clientsView feedback as a constructive opportunity for growthBe adaptable and open to changeWork Environment and BenefitsMust be based in the United StatesFully remote with occasional short travel opportunitiesFlexible hours (aligned with business needs)$34.13/hour for 25 hours/weekQuarterly profit-sharing bonus401k plan with company match up to 4%50 hours PTO annuallyAdditional 55 time off hours paid annually:Four paid holidays of your choice (20 hours total)Company break from Dec. 25-Jan. 1 (30 hours)Birthday off (5 hours)Transparent leadership and a people-first culture that values your voiceThis roles does not include medical, dental, vision, or other benefits.
