Training Specialist - ERP Software

Position Overview

We are seeking a Training Specialist to design, develop, and deliver effective training programs for our ERP software users. This role combines content creation (manuals, user guides, training documents) with live instruction (virtual and/or in-person training sessions). The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, experienced in adult learning principles, and comfortable with technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain user documentation, training manuals, quick reference guides, and other learning resources.
• Deliver engaging training sessions for new and existing ERP users via Microsoft Teams, webinars, and in-person workshops.
• Partner with internal teams (product, support, customer success) to ensure training materials are accurate, clear, and aligned with product updates.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and adapt materials/programs based on user feedback.
• Support the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring they are set up for success with the ERP platform.
• Stay current with ERP system features and functionality, incorporating new capabilities into training programs.
• Contribute to the development of e-learning modules, video tutorials, and knowledge base articles as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Business, Information Systems, or related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in training, instructional design, or technical education (software or technology environment strongly preferred).
• Prior experience working with ERP software (user, trainer, or support role) strongly preferred.
• Strong written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to create clear and effective documentation.
• Confident presenter with excellent verbal communication and facilitation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, and presentation tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Physical and Mental Qualifications:

• Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.
• Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk, utilizing a computer, mouse, and keyboard.
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
